Embrace the future! SER at the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit

| Alexandra Lilienthal

Digital transformation, to be truly effective, must be sweeping and go deep – from the board room to department teams to the mail room – and positively impact your employees’ day-to-day work experience. We know that we want this at our workplace – but how do we achieve it? And how will digital innovations shape the future of work? These and many other questions will be the focus of the 2019 Gartner Digital Workplace Summit taking place in London from September 12th to 13th. This year’s event challenges us to rethink the digital workplace of the future and encourages us to “Embrace the Future of Work: Prepare, Adapt, Transform.”

SER and other major market players will help attendees to explore and find solutions to challenges such as digital business transformation, security in the digital workplace, collaboration tools and strategy, and many more. Nearly 1,000 attendees are expected to enter the doors of the Intercontinental O2 in London on Thursday, September 12th. This year, Gartner has developed an agenda that is divided into four tracks: Transforming the Employee Experience, Technology and Application Strategies, Effective Program Management for the Digital Workplace, and Powering the Future of Work.

The SER Group team looks forward to engaging discussions with attendees at their booth. This year we are particularly thrilled that Sebastian Gil Haenelt, IT Project Manager at Otto Group, will be speaking at our solution provider session on September 13th, 9:00 am at Arora 7. In his presentation, “Digital workspace for retail: From classical mail-order to networked e-commerce,” attendees will learn how the retailer Otto Group is currently transforming its well-known brands and services from pure mail-order and over-the-counter concepts into e-driven networked sales channels. SER and its Doxis4 ECM platform, positioned as a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms 2018, are driving the Group’s digitalization process. Doxis4 covers a diverse range of the Group’s use case needs. We hope to see you there on September 13th!

Hey there, in my role as an International Communications Manager, I juggle analyst relations along with several international teams, PR and marketing projects for the SER Group. I am excited to share all our activities across the globe with you. Prior to joining SER, I held several marketing and communications positions at an international affiliate marketing network, where I worked 9 years. My other passion, good food!, started with a college job at a popular Berlin restaurant and hasn’t stopped yet. I try to explore the culinary highlights of Berlin and any other place I visit whenever I can.
