The Cloud Engineer role is for people who are passionate about helping others. You will be communicating with our Cloud Manager and customers in a variety of industries, working with them to address any type of issue that arises from using our Doxis software as a service.

 

SER is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to enhance our DevOps processes for our fast-growing SaaS. The role will encompass the use of a broad range of AWS/Azure technologies, IaaC tools (terraform, helm) and application environments (Kubernetes), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice cloud security principles.

 

• You will collaborate on the creation of the IaaC journey using innovative technologies such as terraform and helm.
• You will provision and deploy cloud tenants for new customers over public clouds
• You will integrate cloud tenants with customer’s premises and users over the web
• You will run incident resolution, facilitating teamwork with other departments as required
• You will check SER Cloud system diagnostics, investigate system performance issues, monitor availability, and document issues as appropriate, in order to meet the in place SLAs
• You work with development teams and professional services to troubleshoot more complex issues
• You will contribute to the SOC2 and ISO27k certification process in accordance with industry standard methodologies

• You have a degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable education
• You have experience in IaaC concepts and technologies such as terraform, helm charts or similar
• You have at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:
  • Kubernetes
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.)
  • Experience with some scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.
• Initial experience in the following areas is desirable:
  • Knowledge of AWS services or Azure Services
  • Exposure to security concepts/best practices
  • Contribution to certification processes such as ISO27001 or SOC2
• You like to learn the latest technologies
• You enjoy teamwork and communication in English
