Around the globe approximately 235 million people are currently struggling not only with the economic and social repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic, but also with local political conflicts and natural catastrophes such as the terrible flooding of 2021. “It was an incredibly hard year for so many people. With our campaign ‘You click – We donate,’ we sought to provide financial support to those who need it most. That’s why we are proud to help organizations that help these people,” explains Dr. John Bates, CEO of SER.

Social responsibility: An ongoing priority for SER

For years now, SER has been supporting groups and organizations in their efforts to provide more stability and justice in society. The year 2021 was no different: SER called on its employees, customers and business partners to support its donation initiative. For every click on the donation page, SER donated one euro, which resulted in a total donation amount of 10,000 euros. The donation recipients can use the funds to improve living conditions, provide relief, and help maintain their aid projects. Bates comments, “There are so many amazing volunteers around the world who work tirelessly to aid and assist those in need. We are so happy to be able to make a difference with our donations to these incredible aid organizations around the globe.”
