The new GDPR regulation is knocking on the doors of any company storing personal data in the European Union – no matter where they are headquartered. As of May 25, 2018 all companies must fulfill the new, stricter requirements for storing, releasing and deleting personal data. As this concerns more companies than one would think, it is no surprise that probably only about 50% of those companies will be GDPR-compliant when the grace period ends.
