Best of Industry Award: Doxis® iRoom® for supplier

The "Best of Industry Award" of Germany's leading industry journal MM Maschinenmarkt honors outstanding innovations from the industrial sector. The Doxis^® iRoom^® for supplier from SER and Eissmann Group Automotive was one of these. Both jury and readers were unanimous: The collaboration solution was voted the best software project. For the criteria "Technical Innovativeness" and "Benefits for Industry, Environment and Society", the Doxis^® iRoom^® beat out several hundred competitors to take fourth place in the category "Industry 4.0".

With the "Best of Industry Award", Eissmann Group Automative has received yet another accolade as a digital pioneer. In 2017, it already took second at the "Digital Leader Award". The supplier platform as a solution (PaaS) is based on the company-wide Doxis ECM platform and is a major component of Eissmann Group Automotive's digital transformation strategy. The aim of this strategy is to integrate external partners and supplies into the company's business processes. The international supplier for the automotive industry uses the virtual project room to digitally collaborate with more than 1,000 suppliers in its production processes. In the Doxis^® iRoom^®, they work together and exchange documents, such as certificates and multimedia objects. Communication, documentation and protected information sharing go hand in hand here and facilitate perfectly harmonized cross-company processes.
