Your registration for a training course must be received by SERacademy by letter, telefax, e-mail, or online form at the latest 14 days prior to the training start date. If you do not use the online form for registration, please be sure to provide the name of the participant(s), including telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address(es), and the full name and mailing address/billing address of the company that is sponsoring the training and is the contract partner of SERacademy.

By registering for a training course you accept and agree to these Terms of Participation.

Your registration is binding and will be processed by us in the order in which it is received. You will receive a confirmation of receipt by web service or e-mail. If the training course you have requested is already fully booked, we will notify you promptly. Otherwise you will receive a confirmation of registration from us, along with additional information; please note that we reserve the right to cancel training courses for important reasons (see below).

The prior skills and experience specified in the description of the training course are a prerequisite for successful participation in the training course.

We will invoice you for the training fee after you have completed the training course. The training fee is due 14 days from the invoice date. All quoted prices/fees are exclusive of legal value-added tax.

Unless otherwise specified, the training fee includes participation in a standard training course via web or as a standard training course in Bonn or Berlin (for these locations, beverages, snacks during breaks and lunch are included).

Cancellations generally must be communicated to SERacademy by letter or fax. Canceling with the instructor or SER employees not associated with SERacademy is not an option.

You may cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to the training start date. Rescheduling your participation for a later date up to 14 days prior to the training start date will be considered a cancellation and new registration; cancellation of the original start date is free of charge.

If your notice of cancellation is received by SERacademy less than 14 days, but not more than seven days prior to the training start date, you will be responsible for a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the agreed training fee. If your notice cancellation is received later or you do not show up for a training course, the full training fee will be due.

You may designate another person to participate in a training course booked by you and confirmed by us, up to seven days prior to the training start date by letter or fax. If the designated substitute does not participate in the booked event, the full training fee will be due for the participant originally registered.

SERacademy reserves the right to cancel training courses up to one week prior to the training start date if less than the minimum number of participants is registered for a course or for other important reasons (e.g., unavailability of instructor, force majeure, etc.), or to make changes to the program (e.g., change of instructors). We will notify you of any cancellation or changes in writing without undue delay. In the event of cancellation, we will attempt to reschedule you for a different date that is acceptable to you. If we cancel a course and are unable to reschedule you, we will promptly refund the training fee you have already paid.

Any other claims are hereby excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent actions or omissions by employees or other agents of SERacademy.

To the extent that we make available training rooms, we assume no liability for any damages you may suffer as a result of accidents and/or loss or theft of any property brought to training rooms by you, including, without limitation, clothing or valuables.
