Stay fully informed about customers, interested parties and employees
In order to deliver a perfect level of customer service, employees in sales, customer services and accounting need access to all relevant information about their customers – from CRM systems such as Salesforce, ERP systems such as SAP and other sources – so that they are up to date at all times.
Doxis SmartBridge for Salesforce integrates the CRM system and solutions based on the Salesforce platform such as Certinia or Sage People with Doxis to provide you with a comprehensive pool of information. Doxis collects information on every account, contact, opportunity or project in Salesforce in an eFile that is regularly synchronized with the content from Salesforce and other systems.
The benefit? Doxis bundles together all this information in one place, where it can even be accessed by colleagues without their own Salesforce account.
Integrating Salesforce with Doxis can significantly save time by automating the initiation of downstream processes. When specific events occur in Salesforce, they trigger corresponding processes in Doxis for further action. Here are three practical examples:
- Sales: When an opportunity in Salesforce is marked as "closed-won," a client onboarding workflow will automatically begin in Doxis. This process starts as soon as the status change syncs with Doxis.
- Human resources: When a status changes from "applicant" to "employee" in Sage People, it syncs with Doxis, triggering a workflow to automatically create an employment contract.
- Customer services: When a contract with a new client is concluded in Certinia PSA (a Professional Services Automation (PSA) software for Salesforce), a project workspace for saving documents relevant to the project is automatically added in Doxis.
A special highlight: Technically advanced users (citizen developers) can configure the entire integration process between Salesforce and Doxis using the no-code development environment Doxis Business Studio in just a few clicks.
Document management for SAP SuccessFactors
Similar to how Doxis SmartBridge for Salesforce works with the CRM system, Doxis SmartBridge for SAP SuccessFactors builds a bridge to the HRIS system and links documents, workspaces and processes in Doxis with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central & Recruiting. Doxis provides HR employees with a full overview of the documents and data about each employee.

A focus on employees: The employee self-service portal
In human resources management, there are numerous routine tasks that must be completed, and employees also have specific obligations to fulfill for HR. The new employee self-service portal in Doxis Human Resources benefits both HR departments and employees equally:
Provide access to salary statements: HR employees no longer have to send out salary statements to each employee, and can instead simply make the statements available in the employee self-service portal so that their colleagues can access the documents in the “self-service file,” which is accessible only to them and the HR department.
Inform HR about a new home address: When their home address changes, employees can easily inform HR via the employee self-service portal, including the effective date. The HR department will receive a notification about the change.
Upload documents for the HR department: Employees can use the employee self-service portal to easily submit applications, provide certificates and references or update their personal details, etc. via drag and drop. The uploaded documents land in the HR staff inbox so that they can be processed immediately.

A focus on job applicants: Contract creation and digital signatures
It’s hard to find suitable new employees. Once you have identified promising candidates, you should act quickly to ensure you don’t lose them to the competition at the last moment. If you already work with applicant portals such as SAP SuccessFactors or Sage People in recruiting and use them to communicate with your applicants, you can now save valuable time and send out employment contracts to job candidates much faster than ever before. Doxis Human Resources automates the contract creation process and supports the electronic signing of contracts, e.g. with DocuSign or Adobe Acrobat Sign.
Doxi Document Insights: AI support for Doxis documents
Have you ever wished that you didn’t have to read the whole document to find certain information? Or that you could simply ask the document to explain what it’s all about? Doxi Document Insights fulfills this wish. This new member of our Doxi family enables you to use natural language in the Doxis windows and web clients to talk to documents in Doxis in a similar way to how our Intelligent Content Assistant Doxi works for you in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint or with PDF documents.

More productive with AI-powered ECM apps
Do you have documents and emails piling up that need to be filed in the relevant projects, but you simply can't get around to it? Then we recommend using our AI-powered Fast Starters. Simply drag all of the documents into a drop zone and an AI app will sort, save and tag them for you in the background. They are available as add-ons for customer, sales order, supplier and purchase order workspaces and for documents that have been preconfigured with specific metadata and associated folder structures. Another new addition to the Fast Starter library is the Business Partner Workspace. If you don’t want to use a workspace template such as a supplier or customer workspace for certain contact groups, you can use the new, generic Business Partner Workspace instead. It allows you to manage all types of business partners such as customers, suppliers, employees, etc. using one template.

Invoice management with Doxis is eInvoice ready!
Is your company equipped for the eInvoicing obligations?
